    Minimum rider age: 3.5 years 2. Getting started 2.1 Let’s assemble your CAKE 16” bike Okay, now that we have that out of the way, let’s start to assemble the bike. As you may have noticed, this 16” bike comes partially assembled upon delivery.

    2.2 Assemble step-by-step Step 1 : Unboxing First of all we need to remove the shipping box. Avoid using sharp objects when unpacking and removing the protective pieces. By doing so, you avoid risking damage to both yourself as well as the paint or individual parts. The unassembled bike and shipping box contains small parts and plastic bags that pose a choking hazard to young children so please keep these away from kids.
  • Page 6 Step 3 : Handlebar adjustment Loosen the two bolts on the stem and align the Bar and stem to the front wheel and tighten the bolts evenly until you feel sufficient resistance for the stem to be firmly fixed. WARNING: Failure to tighten the stem screw correctly can lead to serious accidents.

    • Check that the tires, the frame, the fork, the rims and all other parts show no damage, that all the screws and bolts are well tightened and that all the components are firmly attached. • Check that the tires are correctly inflated according to the recommendations indicated on the sidewalls of the tires.
