The AEG-1 is the culmination of a lifetime dedicated to high- performance acoustic amplification, all rooted in the craftsmanship of a luthier. Our founder and master luthier, Lloyd Baggs, began his journey as a guitar maker, creating instruments for artists like Ry Cooder, Jackson Browne, Graham Nash, and Janis Ian.

    LED is yellow, you have about 8 hours of normal playing time left. You will need to replace the battery when the LED is red. To maximize battery life, make sure to unplug your instru- ment cable when not using the AEG-1.

    C. MIC CONTROL Use this control to mix between HiFi pickups and the Silo microphone. When the mic control is fully counterclockwise, you will hear full-range HiFi pickups only. Turn this control clockwise to mix in the Silo microphone. When turned all the way clockwise, the Silo mic is carrying the majority of the guitar’s voice with the HiFi pickups supporting the lower frequencies.

    Battery Compartment To properly set this control, make sure the MIC CONTROL knob (C) is turned fully clockwise (full mic position). Then carefully adjust the MIC SENSITIVITY (F) so that you get even tonal balance between the bass, mids, and treble frequencies.
