    NOTE: HP continually improves and changes product parts. For complete and current information about supported parts for your computer, go to http://partsurfer.hp.com, select your country or region, and then follow the on-screen instructions. You must remove, replace, or loosen as many as 71 screws when you service the parts described in this chapter.

    Remove the eight Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws that secure the bottom cover to the computer. Use a tool to release top of the bottom cover from the computer (1). To install the solid-state drive, reverse the removal procedures. NOTE: Solid-state drives are designed with a notch to prevent incorrect insertion.
