Setting Up Your Phone

Install the battery (if necessary).
Insert the battery into the opening, making sure the
connectors align. Gently press down to secure the
battery.

If your phone is activated, it will turn on, search for
Sprint service, and enter standby mode.
If your phone is not yet activated, or if it is locked, see
"Activating Your Phone"on the following page for
more information.

Make your first call.
Use your keypad to enter a phone number.

Note Your phone's battery should have enough charge to turn on,
find a signal, set up your voicemail, and make a call. You
should fully charge your battery as soon as possible. See
"Charging the Battery"on page 22 for details.
