The SeaHawk Spot Detector (SD) uses polymer-coated sensing probes to
detect conductive fluids at a single point. The Spot Detector's threaded body
allows the height of its sensing probes to be easily adjusted. Simply by
loosening the lock nut and turning the threaded body, the unit can be set to the
desired height. The SeaHawk Spot Detector is used with RLE's Remote Alarm
Status Panels (RASPs) and/or Falcon Monitoring Systems. When the SD is
connected to a RASP and detects conductive fluid, the RASP will alarm until the
fluid is no longer present and the RASP panel is reset. When connected to a
Falcon Monitoring System, the Falcon will alarm when conductive fluid is
present and return to normal, or reset automatically, when the fluid is no longer
present. A 14' (4.26m) leader cable is included.
