Installation Combustion air supply Provisions for combustion and ventilation air must be made in accordance with section 5.3, Air for Combustion and Ventilation, of the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1 (latest edition) or applicable provisions of the local codes. In Canada follow CAN/CSA-B149.1 or .2 Natural Gas Installation Codes (latest edition) for combustion and ventilation air requirements. - Page 8 Viessmann recommends above items 1-8 for all installations, even in buildings without airtight construction. 5.
