Countermeasure to Service Password cannot be Entered after
Replacing SRAM
Overview
An SRAM clear script file (debug_s07.sh) is provided to prevent a failure to enter a service
password in the HS mode after the SRAM on the SYS board has been replaced with one
supplied as a service part.

Description of Symptom
When the SRAM on the SYS board is replaced with one supplied as a service part by following
the procedure in section 9.2.5 "Precautions and procedure when replacing the SRAM" of the
Service Manual and the [START] button on the Control Panel or [OK] is pressed on the
password entry screen when it is displayed in step [D]-(1) (refer to page 3 of this bulletin), it is
sometimes not possible to proceed to the next step.
Important Note:
If it is possible to proceed to next step by pressing the [START] button on the Control Panel or
[OK] on the password entry screen when it is displayed in step [D]-(1), applying this script is not
required.
Identifying the SRAM Lot Number
The lot number of the SRAM in which this phenomenon occurs is Lot number: 5xxx, 6xxx. An
example of the lot number of the SRAM is shown below.
