Sicherheitshinweise
Lesen Sie die Sicherheitshinweise sorgfältig, bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal in Betrieb nehmen. Jede
Person, die mit Aufstellung, Inbetriebnahme, Betrieb oder Wartung des Gerätes beauftragt ist, muss mindes­
tens die für sie relevanten Teile der Sicherheitshinweise gelesen haben. Die Sicherheitshinweise sind Teil des
Produktes. Bewahren Sie diese so auf, dass sie jederzeit für alle Benutzer zugänglich sind. Falls Sie das Gerät
an Dritte weitergeben, geben Sie die Sicherheitshinweise stets zusammen mit den für das Gerät relevanten
Dokumenten weiter.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die LCMC ist ausschließlich für Messaufgaben und für direkt damit verbundene Steuerungsaufgaben
(Automatisierungsanlagen) zu verwenden. Jeder darüber hinaus gehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht bestim­
mungsgemäß. Zur Gewährleistung eines sicheren Betriebes dürfen Sie das Gerät nur nach den Angaben in den
Anleitungen betreiben.
Das Gerät darf nur mit einer Sicherheitskleinspannung (DIN EN 61558 bzw. VDE 0570) versorgt werden. Das
Gerät kann mit einer Versorgungsspannung zwischen 15 V und 30 V

Bedingungen am Aufstellungsort
S Beachten Sie die für das Gerät angegebenen maximal zulässigen Umgebungsbedingungen
S Betreiben Sie das Gerät bis zu einer Höhe von 2000 m
S Verkabelung des Gerätes muss vom Betreiber fachgerecht montiert und verlegt werden
S Verschraubungen am Gerät müssen mit dem jeweiligen definierten Drehmoment angezogen werden
Umbauten und Veränderungen
Das Gerät darf unter keinen Umständen weder konstruktiv noch sicherheitstechnisch verändert werden.
Insbesondere sind jegliche Reparaturen oder Lötarbeiten an den Platinen untersagt. Das Gerät darf nicht
geöffnet werden. Mit dem Öffnen des Gerätes verfallen jegliche Gewährleistungsansprüche.
Qualifiziertes Personal
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich von qualifiziertem Personal (Elektrofachkraft oder eine elektrotechnisch
unterwiesene Person) entsprechend der technischen Daten in Zusammenhang mit den hier aufgeführten
Sicherheitsbestimmungen einzusetzen bzw. zu verwenden. Dazu zählen Personen, die je nach Aufgabengebiet
mindestens eine der drei folgenden Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
S Ihnen sind die Sicherheitskonzepte der Mess- und Automatisierungstechnik bekannt und Sie sind als
Projektpersonal damit vertraut.
S Sie sind Bedienungspersonal der Mess- oder Automatisierungsanlage und im Umgang mit den Anlagen
unterwiesen. Sie sind mit der Bedienung der in dieser Dokumentation beschriebenen Geräte und Technolo­
gien vertraut.
S Sie sind Inbetriebnehmer oder für den Service eingesetzt und haben eine Ausbildung absolviert, die Sie zur
Reparatur der Automatisierungsanlagen befähigt. Außerdem haben Sie eine Berechtigung, Stromkreise und
Geräte gemäß den Normen der Sicherheitstechnik in Betrieb zu nehmen, zu erden und zu kennzeichnen.
Restgefahren
Das beschriebene Gerät LCMC entspricht dem Stand der Technik und ist betriebssicher. Der Leistungs- und
Lieferumfang des Gerätes deckt allerdings nur einen Teilbereich der Messtechnik ab. Sicherheitstechnische
Belange der Messtechnik sind zusätzlich vom Anlagenplaner/Ausrüster/Betreiber so zu planen, zu realisieren
und zu verantworten, sodass Restgefahren minimiert werden. Geräte und Einrichtungen der Automatisierungs­
technik müssen so verbaut werden, dass sie gegen unbeabsichtigte Betätigung ausreichend geschützt bzw.
verriegelt sind (z.B. Zugangskontrolle, Passwortschutz o. Ä.). Bei Geräten, die in einem Netzwerk arbeiten, sind
diese Netzwerke so auszulegen, dass Störungen einzelner Teilnehmer erkannt und abgestellt werden können.
Hard- und Firmwareseitig müssen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen getroffen werden, damit ein Leitungsbruch oder
andere Unterbrechungen der Signalübertragung nicht zu undefinierten Zuständen oder Datenverlust in der
Automatisierungseinrichtung führen.
Safety instructions
Read these safety instructions carefully before operating the device for the first time. Any persons assigned to
install, commission, operate or maintain the device must have read at least the relevant sections of the safety
instructions. Safety instructions are part of the product. Keep it in a safe place so that it is permanently acces­
sible to all users. If you pass on the device to a third party, always pass it on together with the relevant docu­
ments.
Intended use
The LCMC is to be used exclusively for measuring tasks and for directly related control tasks (in automation
systems). Any use beyond the described purpose is considered as improper use. To ensure safe operation, you
may only operate the instrument in accordance with the specification given in the instructions.
The device may only be supplied with safety extra-low voltage (DIN EN 61558 or VDE 0570). The device can be
operated with a supply voltage between 15 V

S Operate the device up to an altitude of 2000 m
S Cabling of the device must be properly installed and laid by the operator

Conversions and modifications
Under no circumstances may the device be modified in terms of design or safety. In particular, any repair or
soldering work on the circuit boards is prohibited. The device must not be opened. Opening the unit will
invalidate any warranty claims.
Qualified personnel
The device is to be used exclusively by qualified personnel (electricians or a person trained in electrical
engineering) in accordance with the technical data in accordance with the safety regulations listed here. This
includes persons who meet at least one of the following three requirements, depending on their area of
responsibility:
S You are familiar with the safety concepts of measurement and automation technology and you are familiar
with them as project team members.
S You are operating personnel of the measurement or automation system and have been instructed in han­
dling the equipment. You are familiar with the operation of the devices and technologies described in this
documentation.
S You are a commissioning or service technician and have completed training that qualifies you to repair
automation systems. In addition, you are authorized to commission, ground and label circuits and devices in
accordance with safety engineering standards.
Residual dangers
The described LCMC device corresponds to the state of the art and is safe to operate. However, the perfor­
mance and scope of delivery of the device only covers a part of the measurement technology. The plant
designer/equipment/operator must also plan, implement and be responsible for safety issues relating to
measurement technology in such a way that residual dangers are minimized. Devices and equipment for
automation technology must be installed in such a way that they are adequately protected or locked against
unintentional actuation (e.g. access control, password protection, etc.). In case the device operates in a
network, these networks must be designed that faults of individual participants can be detected and elimi­
nated. Safety precautions must be taken on the hardware and firmware side to ensure that a line break or other
interruptions in signal transmission do not lead to undefined states or data loss in the automation equipment.

aperto. L'apertura dell'unità invaliderà qualsiasi richiesta di garanzia.
Personale qualificato
Il dispositivo deve essere utilizzato esclusivamente da personale qualificato (elettricista o persona addestrata
in elettrotecnica) in conformità ai dati tecnici in relazione alle norme di sicurezza qui elencate. Sono comprese
le persone che soddisfano almeno uno dei seguenti tre requisiti, a seconda della loro area di responsabilità:
S Conoscete i concetti di sicurezza della tecnica di misura e di automazione e li conoscete come personale di
progetto.
S Siete personale operativo del sistema di misura o di automazione e siete stati istruiti sulla gestione dei
sistemi. Conoscete il funzionamento degli apparecchi e delle tecnologie descritte in questa documenta­
zione.

Le dispositif doit être utilisé exclusivement par un personnel qualifié (électricien ou personne formée en
électrotechnique) conformément aux données techniques en rapport avec les règles de sécurité énumérées
ici. Il s'agit des personnes qui remplissent au moins une des trois conditions suivantes, selon leur domaine de
responsabilité :
S Vous connaissez les concepts de sécurité des techniques de mesure et d'automatisation et vous les
connaissez en tant que personnel de projet.
S Vous êtes le personnel d'exploitation du système de mesure ou d'automatisation et vous avez reçu des
instructions pour manipuler les systèmes. Vous connaissez bien le fonctionnement des appareils et des
technologies décrits dans cette documentation.
S Vous êtes un technicien de mise en service ou de maintenance et vous avez suivi une formation qui vous
qualifie pour réparer des systèmes d'automatisation. En outre, vous êtes autorisé à mettre en service, à
mettre à la terre et à étiqueter les circuits et les dispositifs conformément aux normes d'ingénierie de
sécurité.
Risques résiduels
Le dispositif LCMC décrit correspond à l'état de la technique et peut être utilisé en toute sécurité. Toutefois, les
