    The ALF-HDMI-D (Gen2) is a 4K HDMI wireless dongle that allows participants to easily share video content from a laptop or HDMI device to the ALF-UC1 Gen2 base unit. Power is supplied by an auxiliary USB Type A connector. It is designed as a cross platform and plug and play device with no additional driver installation needed.

    INSTALL & CONNECT 1.6 Wall Mount Install The ALF-UC1 Gen2 can be installed on a wall or flat surface. At the bottom of the ALF- UC1 (GEN2), there are two mounting holes that can be fixed to a surface using flat screws.

    ALF-UC1(Gen2) • Connection Diagram 1.7 Power Connection • Local Power Source Plug the power connector to the power adapter to the power input connector of the Base Unit ALF-UC1 (Gen2). Choose the appropriate power plug (US, UK, EU or AU) to be installed on the power adapter.

    ALF-UC1(Gen2) 1.9 Audio Connection Connect an audio cable with phoenix connector into the audio of the ALF-UC1 (GEN2). Connect the other side to the meeting room’s sound system. The Wireless dongles can transmit audio to the ALF-UC1 (GEN2) base unit when the audio output of the source device is selected.

If there is no DHCP server on the network, the ALF-UC1 (GEN2) will require a manually configured, static IP address.

    ALF-UC1(Gen2) • 1.15.3 Screen Sharing using Airplay On iOS and macOS devices a user can stream his screen and sound wirelessly to the ALF-UC1 (GEN2) base unit via Airplay. Connect the iOS or macOS device to the same Wi-Fi network that the ALF-UC1(GEN2) is connected too.

    ALF-UC1(Gen2) 1.15.5 Screen Sharing using MiraCast: Wi-Fi must be enabled and connected to the same network as the ALF-UC1 (GEN2) base unit. Press + P and then click “Connect to a wireless display” in the pop-up window. Under Security Level 1 mode, there is no need to enter password to connect. Device Name: this parameter indicates current name assigned to ALF-UC1 (GEN2). Network Mode: this parameter tells the user which network working mode is currently configured.

The ALF-UC1 (GEN2) base unit will be connected via network cable to the wired of the company network. The Staff users will be able to connect to their usual access point of Company network, without the need to change the Wi-Fi as long as both networks are on the same range.
