FIREPLACE INSTALLATION CFX Vent Free Fireplace System FIREBOX TO MANTEL INSTALLATION 1. Slide fireplace into mantel. 2. Use the two (2) 'L' brackets provided to secure the fireplace to the mantel. Always wear gloves to prevent skin irritation from ceramic fibers. After handling logs, wash your hands gently with soap and water to remove any traces of fibers. -

CFX Vent Free Fireplace System CHECK THE BURNER FLAME OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Avoid any drafts that alter burner flame patterns. Do not allow fans to blow directly into the fireplace. Do not place a blower inside the burn area of the firebox. Ceiling fans may create drafts that alter flame patterns. -

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CFX Vent Free Fireplace System MILLI-VOLT CONTROL LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS 1. STOP! Read the safety information label. 2. Make sure the manual shutoff valve is fully open. 3. This gas log set is equipped with an ignition device (piezo) which automatically lights the pilot. If piezo ignitor does not light the pilot, Refer to the instructions for Match Lighting Instructions, Page 25. -

Follow appropriate lighting instructions found previously. Instead of pushing and releasing the piezo button, light a match and hold the flame to the end of the pilot and ignite the pilot. -

Model CFX24 uses blower model BLO24T. Model CFX32 uses blower model BLOT. The firebox must be connected to main power supply at time of firebox installation. The blower must be installed prior to the installation of the unvented heater. -
