Page 6: Setting Up Your Additive Speedlift Lite
ADDITIVE SPEEDLIFT LITE - THE FIRST STEPS Remove the stand from the packaging and on a solid/robust surface. Piston rod extends a maximum of 0.8 m; (total height of the stand then approx. 2.1 m). Select the installa- tion location so that the assembly stand can unfold completely. - Page 7 ...and fold the folding foot onto the floor. START-UP/ OPERATION: It is operated in a standing position, facing the Additive Speedlift LITE assembly stand.The force of the gas pressure damper is released with one hand by pressing the operating unit. Clamping on the top tube or down tube is not recommended, espe- cially for carbon frames, as this can cause damage. In general, no compensation can be claimed from Additive for dam- age caused by the retaining claw. When loosening bottom brackets or other work involving high forces, we recommend lowering the bike to the ground and using so-called impact wrenches. -

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR GAS PRESSURE SPRINGS Gas springs have a very high internal pressure (up to approx. 300 bar). They must under no circumstances be opened without instructions! Our gas springs are maintenance-free! Do not grease or oil the piston rod, etc. Our gas springs are designed and tested for the highest requirements and maxi- mum reliability. -
