admin user can
NOT be changed
using this method.
The Administrator
interface must be
used.

1.
In Chooser, select the printer type matching the printer connected to the Disk
Server.
2.
From the list on the right, select the Disk Server, then click Create.
(Refer to Troubleshooting if the Disk Server's printer is not listed.)
3.
The new printer will be created, and can be used like any other printer.
Note:
The Printer Object Type, and LaserWriter/Other setting, on the Printer tab of
the System menu option, must be correct. See page Printer Setup for Macintosh
on page 12 for details.
Once the Disk Server Administrator has created a valid User Name on the Disk Server
for you, you can use the following procedure to change your password.
1.
Start your WEB browser.
2.
In the Address box, enter:
HTTP://ip_address/user.pl
Where ip_address is the IP Address of the Disk Server, as in the following
example:
HTTP://192.168.0.2/user.pl
If you do not know the IP Address of the Disk Server, ask the Disk Server admin-
istrator.
3.
You will be prompted for your name and password.
Enter your existing user name and password.
4.
On the next screen, enter your new password.
5.
Save, then close your Browser.
