Charcoal Filter (on some models)
The charcoal filter cannot be cleaned. It must be
replaced.
For JVM1800 and JVM3600 Series models, order
Part No. WB2XI0733 from your GE supplier.
For JVM2000 Series models, order Part No. WB2XI0956
from your GE supplier.
If tile model is not vented to the outside, the air
will be recirculated through a disllosable charcoal
liher that helps remov_ smoke and odors.
The charcoal filter should be replaced when
it is noticeably dirty or discolored (usually atler
6 tO 12 illonths, depending on hood usage). S_e

Remove grille screws
to remove the grille.
To Remove Charcoal Filter
']b remove the (h_uxoal tiher, (lisconne(t

at the main fllse or circuit breaker panel or pull
the plug.
Remove the top grille b} removing the screws on
top of tile grille that hold it in t)lace and sliding tile
grille to tile left (opening tile door makes grille
removM e_sier). Slide tile/ilter towards tile t_'ont
o/tile oven mid remove it.

To Install Charcoal Filter
To instnll a ne_ {iher, remove l)l_sti( _md other
outer wrapping t_'om the new filte_
Insert the Jilter into the toll opening of the oven as
shown. It will rest ;-it ;_lll angle on 2 side sutlllort tails
;rod in/i'ont o/the right rein: tab. Replace the grille
_md screws.
