Battery Power
The Battery Holder requires 3x 1.5V AAA batteries, (not included). Alkaline batteries are recommended.
Rechargeable NIMH AAA Batteries can also be used. Please note polarity when installing.
Slide the power switch to the OFF position. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw from the battery door. Insert the
batteries according to the polarity. Refit the door and the screw.
Mode Switch
If you are using a Play Button to activate your sound, please slide the Mode Switch to the left position. If you are
using a Light Sensor to activate your sound, please slide the Mode Switch to the right position.
How to download your MP3 sound file
Connect the module to a spare USB port on a computer via the Micro-USB Socket, (USB cable not included). Once
the module is recognised by the computer as a 'Removable Disk', you will be able to drag and drop MP3 files into
the internal memory of the module.
NOTES: Remove any unwanted files from the memory. You can load as many files as you wish, but the total size
must not exceed 4MB. We recommend that your MP3 file is MONO, 128kbps, 44.1kHz, 16 Bit. Please also ensure
that your file name does not include any symbols, such as - #"> * + / etc.
When you have finished downloading your sound files, disconnect the module from the computer by disconnecting
the USB cable.
How to playback
Slide the power switch to the ON position. Press the PLAY button once to hear your sound. If you have downloaded
more than one sound file, each time you press the button one sound will play. If you are using the Light Sensor,
each time the sensor is exposed to light, one sound will play. Please note that the sensor requires complete
darkness to reset after each activation.
