INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Long wrist splint

Product code: ManuTim Long

1. Characteristics

Wrist splint is made of breathable material with perforation. Velcro

straps provide a snug fit of the stabilizer and firm immobilization.

2. Application

Wrist splint is used to immobilize wrist in functional position ensuring

full movement in metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints. The

stabilizer relieves wrist bones, joint capsules and tendons.

Indications for use:

• Peritendinitis

• Carpal tunnel syndrome

• Degeneration of wrist joint

• Twists and dislocations

• Overload arthropathy

• After removing plaster cast

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of:

• Skin abrasion

• Eczema

• Wound and other skin injuries

• After application of warming gel or rub

• Individual contraindications which were determined by the doctor

during interview and physical examination

Both versions are designed to stabilize the wrist on the side for which they have been anatomically formed.
