1. Characteristics

The corset is made of elastic compression fabric fastened by velcro
at the front. It consists of flexible underwires and aluminium stays,
which relieve and stabilize the spine, and a tightening system which
adjusts the force of stabilization. Owing to the spatial structure of
compression fabric, the corset is air permeable and removes
excessive heat and moisture perfectly. The height of the corset is
appropriate to stabilize the lumbar spine (LumboTim) or the
thoracic-lumbosacral spine (LumboTim Plus).

2. Application

The corset is used to reduce pain, in decompression of nerve roots,
in local stabilization of spine, as well as in strengthening during
verticalization of a patient who suffers from orthopedic or
neurologic injury. Owing to elastic fabric, the material has
compression effect on the muscles within the trunk.
Indications for use:
• Discopathy
• Spondylolisthesis
• Inflammations of spine joints
• Overload pain
• Degenerative changes
• Neuropathic and radiculopathy
• Increased and painful states of back muscle tone
• In post-surgery treatment and rehabilitation process
