1.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
3 Familiarise yourself with the application and limitations of the hose reel, as well as the specific hazards.
p WARNING! Disconnect the hose reel from the water supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.
3 Maintain the hose reel in good condition (use an authorised service agent).
3 Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
3 Locate and fix the hose reel in a suitable working area. Do not position the hose in direct sun light, or in areas of extreme heat or
cold. Ensure there is adequate lighting.
p WARNING! Ensure maximum pressure is not exceeded.
3 Keep extended hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check hose for wear before each use, and ensure all connections are secure.
3 Keep the unwound hose at a safe distance from the working area and free from oily surfaces.
3 Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.
3 Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings, and other loose jewellery and contain and/or tie back long hair.
3 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
7 DO NOT operate the hose reel if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
7 DO NOT exceed the rated capacity of the hose reel.
7 DO NOT use the hose reel for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
7 DO NOT yank the hose from the water supply.
7 DO NOT operate the hose reel when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
7 DO NOT direct water from the water hose at yourself or others.
3 When not in use ensure the water supply is turned off and tools disconnected. Disconnect from the water supply and retract the hose into
case.

INTRODUCTION & SPECIFICATION
Heavy-duty steel open style construction with mounting bracket for fixing to wall or floor. Suitable for industrial applications or areas where longer
length of hose is required. Will hold up to 80mtr (270ft) of Ø13mm hose. Spring loaded pin for locking drum.

MOUNTING/ASSEMBLY
WARNING! Ensure the hose is disconnected from the water supply. Do not position the hose in direct sun light or in areas of

extreme heat or cold.

3.1.
To wall mount the reel first remove the wall mounting bracket from the reel by removing securing bolts/nuts (fig 1 & 2).
3.2.
Fix the bracket in an appropriate position ensuring that the wall and the mounting screws and plugs will adequately support the
weight of the reel and the tension of the hose as it is pulled from the reel.
3.3.
Re-attach the reel to the bracket ensuring that the bolts/nuts are securely tightened.
3.4.
Ensure that the hose reel is located so that the hose can be pulled out to, and reeled back from work sites without causing
unnecessary sideways force.
3.5
It is recommended that three people fit the reel to the chosen surface, two to support the weight and the third to secure the reel using
the bolt holes (fig 3 overleaf). Sturdy masonry bolts are suitable for securing the hose reel, providing they give ample support during
the unreeling/reeling of the hose.
