1 General Safety Information The following instructions are intended to serve as a guideline for the use of the AVNA HS-Sync Synchronization Module. This manual will refer to this device as HS-Sync. This manual is not to be considered all-inclusive, nor is it intended to replace the policy and procedures for your facility. -

2.1 Features • Mounts to 4x4 electrical box • Nominal voltage: Regulated 24VDC • Synchronizes AVNA Notification Appliance Series • Operating voltage: 16 to 33 VDC • 10 to 93% RH • Compatible with UL Listed Fire Control Unit 2.2 Specifications •... - Page 5 The AVNA Sync Module provides synchronization for a circuit of compatible notification appliances. For sync without the audible silence option, connect a notification appliance circuit configured for continuous output during alarm to the NAC+ and NAC- inputs. The SIL switch must be in the OFF position. See Figure 1. WARNING: Do not use this product with coded circuits.

If it is required to maintain the strobe operation after the horns have been silenced, move the SIL switch to the ON position.
