Leica GPH1/GPH1P Prism For use of the GRP System FX with the total station, a prism is installed on the Profiler FX, the prism column GPC 100 or one of the laser scanners. For highest accuracy, we recommend the use of a prism of the type GPH1P.
User manual Chapter 3 Safety Directions The GRP System FX concept is designed to be used on the tracks of a railway. There are inherent dangers in working in this environment. There are also some safety measures regarding the GRP System FX. It is essential to read these safety instructions carefully.

Before transportation or shipping contact your local passenger or freight transport company. Using a battery charger not recommended by Amberg Technologies can damage the batteries. This can cause fire or explosions. Precautions: Only use chargers recommended by Amberg Technologies to charge the batteries.

As soon as the battery is attached, the internal sensors of the track trolley TGS FX are supplied with power. Therefore, always remove the power cable when you no longer need the GRP System FX. 5. Place the computer on the computer holder on the push handle.
4.2 Cables and connections for TGS FX All components of the GRP System FX connect to the FX Controller, which is located inside the TGS FX trolley. The following principles apply to the power supply: The measuring system operates with DC voltage.
TGS FX and Leica GNSS receiver. For the other cable connections, which have to be established, please refer to the Leica GNSS manual. Further instructions on how to set a GRP System FX up with GNSS can be found in corresponding instruction manuals.
5.1.2 Coordinate system of TGS FX The GRP System FX uses the following convention for the internal coordinate system. It is used for the determination of the geometrical trolley parameters. 5.1.3 Sign rules super elevation (cant) The sign for the cant is always defined in the direction of increasing stationing (chainage).

Chapter 6 Maintenance, checking and adjustment The GRP System FX is inspected, checked and adjusted before shipment. The resulting values are listed on the Producer Inspection Certificate. The geometric and sensor parameters should be verified at least once a year and after any mechanical impact.
In order to adjust the gauge measuring device, install the trolley in a place with known gauge. Subsequently, an adjustment can be done with Amberg Fidelity software. A gauge inspection frame is part of the inspection set. Please contact your local Amberg Technologies representative for further information.

The technical data of the control computer can be found in the respective manual. 11.7 Cables Depending on the configuration, various cables are needed for the GRP System FX. The table below shows the available cables and the system configurations and where they are used.
User manual 11.13 Wear parts Some parts of the GRP System FX are wear parts. Please check the state of the wear parts on a weekly basis and either reinspect the system or exchange the wear parts. The following table lists the conditions, when the wear parts have to be exchanged.
