FIT BATTERY – Do NOT
use rechargeable
batteries. Use a good
quality 9 volt battery
such as a Duracell
PP3. REMOVE the two
screws using the tool
provided and remove
battery door.
LOW BATTERY CHECK - The battery condition is tested at
switch ON and after each activation, if it is found to be
low it gives a distinctive triple tone warning. Replace
the battery as soon as possible.
BATTERY LEVEL MONITOR – The LEDs will light to show
the level of the battery. 4 LEDs = maximum, 1 LED = low.
Press and Hold PB1 and PB3 to check battery level.
To maximise battery life keep the Rx-D v2 at least
half a metre way from all electrical devices including
battery packs. Replacing a battery does not affect
memorised settings or pairing.
AUTO SWITCH OFF – When switched ON if no activity is
detected from a paired Txi-D v2 within approximately
60 hours the Rx-D v2 will switch OFF with an audible
confirmation countdown warning. Press any PB to
extend for another 60 hours.
PB FAILSAFE ABORT – If PBs become held down
continuously by accident the Rx-D v2 will assume
a fault state and switch OFF automatically.
MAIN MENU
SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON/OFF – Hold down PB1, PB2 and PB3 until
confirmation tones are heard and immediately release.
1.0 BIVVY LIGHT MODE - All LEDs illuminate together in
WHITE to provide illumination for 20 seconds when
triggered by a continuous activation from the Txi-D
v2 of at least 4 seconds.
• Press PB1 to toggle between ON/OFF. (Pressing
any PB whilst the LEDs are illuminated turns them
OFF until BIVVY LIGHT is triggered again).
Note - Use of BIVVY LIGHT will reduce battery life. BIVVY
LIGHT MODE + DND may be used at the same time.
2.0 DND (DO NOT DISTURB) – An emergency setting that
prevents the Rx-D v2 from sounding until 4 seconds
of continuous activations have been received.
Stops unwanted indications from a sudden change
in conditions such as a heavy rain or hailstones,
times out automatically after 15 minutes.
• Press PB2 to toggle ON/OFF.
2.1 DND LOCK – Locks DND ON continually and
can be used to deliberately stop the user from
being disturbed by anything other than a full
blooded run.
• Press and Hold PB2 until the locked pip is heard.
Use with great care and NOT when fishing near snags.
3.0 RECALL - Last channel activated will illuminate.
Press PB3.
4.0 QUICK TORCH – All LEDs illuminate together in WHITE
to provide emergency illumination manually for a
maximum of 20 seconds.
• Press and continue to Hold PB3.
Over use of QUICK TORCH will significantly reduce
battery life.

to the Rx-D v2. If you wish
to add additional or remove
existing Txi-D v2s then follow
the steps in Menu 2 below.

MENU 2 – PAIRING AND MEMORY
CLEAR SETTINGS
To access MENU 2 Turn Rx-D v2 ON and continue to
hold all PBs until you get 2 beeps and all Channel
LEDs flash.
The Rx-D v2 will switch OFF automatically after 45
seconds with nothing paired if pairing is not confirmed.
If an error is made before Pairing Completion switch
OFF manually or wait for automatic switch OFF
and start again.
5.0 PAIRING MODE - Allows Txi-D v2 to be paired.
Additional alarms can be added too without the
need to clear the memory.
• Press PB1 to enter pairing mode – Rx-D v2 will skip
over any paired channels and flashes the first
available channel.
Note – You can not pair to a channel that has already
been used. To use a channel that has already been
paired you must do a MEMCLEAR see section 2.1 below.
• Activate the Txi-D v2 and when it is paired correctly
the Rx-D v2 LEDs will flash with a confirmation tone,
next available channel will start flashing. You can
select a different channel at any time pressing PB1.
• There are 12 channels in total (3 x 4 Channels).
Channel 1-4 flash , 5-8 flash
while in PAIRING MODE.
• Once you have finished press PB2 to confirm pairing.
Note – Rx-D v2 will automatically pick up the set colour
of the Txi-D v2 once pairing is complete and will only
allow pairing with one unique Txi-D v2 code at a time.
Any further transmissions of the same code will result
in an error tone.
5.1 MEMCLEAR – Clears pairing memory. This must be
carried out in order to pair to a channel previously
used or to correct any pairing errors. This clears the
memory completely, to pair again see above.
• Press and hold PB3 until the Rx-D v2 switches OFF.

Button presses are acknowledged by various
confirmation tones and LED flashes.
VOLUME CONTROL (V) – Turn clockwise to increase level.
ACCESSORY FITMENT – Fitting for Lanyard, Bankstick
and Belt Clips.
THE Rx-D v2 FEATURES:
• AUTO SYNC MULTI COLOURED LEDS – Automatically
syncs with the colour set on the Txi-D v2 alarm.
• EASY PAIRING – Comes paired to your Txi-D v2 alarms
and can pair with up to 12 alarms in total.
• BIVVY LIGHT MODE - All LEDs illuminate WHITE to
provide emergency illumination when triggered by the
Txi-D v2.
Accessory Fitment
• QUICK TORCH – Can light all LEDs to give emergency
torch option.
LEDs
• DND (Do Not Disturb) - Prevents the Rx-D v2 from

MENU 3 – ANTI THEFT AND
To access MENU 3 Turn Rx-D v2 ON and continue
to hold all PBs until you get 3 beeps and LEDs flash
. MENU 3 will automatically time out after 16
seconds or 8 seconds from the last PB press and
settings will be MEMORISED.
6.0 VIBRO – Rx-D v2 will vibrate when activation from
a Txi-D v2 is received (Default ON).
• Press and Release PB1 to toggle ON/OFF.
6.1 CONFIGURE VIBRO REPEATS – The number of
repeats may be changed from 1, 2 or 3 as required.
• Press and Release PB1 to switch VIBRO OFF.
• Press and Hold PB1 to change number of
repeats to 1, 2 or 3 releasing at required setting.
LEDs will light up to indicate the level.
6.2 ANTI-THEFT SECURITY ALARM
When triggered by the Txi-D v2 switch OFF or ATMD
(ANTI-THEFT MOVEMENT DETECTION see section 8.1
and 9-12 flash
Txi-D v2 instructions) the Security Alarm will sound
continuously for 20 seconds (Default ON).
• Press and Release PB3 to toggle between ON/OFF.
Note – Turning SECURITY OFF is memorised. Please
make sure you are not fishing in an area that needs
security before disabling this feature.
If ANTI-THEFT alarm has been triggered press any PB
to abort.
Note – To avoid accidental triggering always switch
Rx-D v2 OFF before Txi-D v2s.
