PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This unit is a Portable Power Station (PPS) and as such, it includes an intelligent battery system, an intelligent inverter, and a battery charging system that incorporates MPPT technology for maximum efficiency and performance of the system’s batteries. This PPS can receive power from its Solar Input, AC Grid, or even a power generator, both to charge its internal batteries and to power the equipment connected to it.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K INTERNAL BATTERY CONNECTION For safety reasons, the internal battery of the XSI-PPS-3K comes disconnected from the internal circuitry via the breaker located under the top cover of the equipment. To begin installation, the breaker must be connected as explained below: Start by removing the 2 screws located toward the back of the top panel of the equipment, as shown in the image on the right.

The location of the securing screw to be removed is indicated in the figure on the right by a red arrow. Install the cable gland included with this equipment on the cover you just removed.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K PARALLEL CONNECTIONS Your XSI-PPS-3K includes a powerful internal LiFePO4 battery that provides a very useful and versatile battery backup. However, this backup can be expanded by connecting up to 2 additional external batteries in parallel, which, in addition to increasing the system’s backup capacity, connect to the BMS system for enhanced longevity, better operation, greater efficiency, and optimal backup whenever needed.

KEYBOARD & LCD This unit is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium battery, so it is important to ensure that, before its first use, it is charged for at least 12 hours to guarantee optimal operating conditions. Figure 1 shows the location of the On/Off Button, while Figure 2 shows the XSI-PPS-3K operation panel, consisting of the LCD, Scroll Bar, and operation buttons.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K 7. CONFIGURATION VIA LCD Settings menu allows you to adjust the operating parameters of this device. The factory pre-configured options are shown on the screen as selected. To modify the operating parameters of the XSI-PPS-3K, you must understand its operation. To access the Settings Menu, press the Home Icon (identified in the image on the right) for 3 seconds.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K Screen 1/8: Home Page. Allows you to configure which page will be the device's Home page. Default Value: Home. Screen 2/8: Wi-Fi Module Status. Allows you to turn the device's Wi-Fi module on or off. Default Value: Enabled.

Allows you to set the duration for which the device's screen will remain on after the user's last interaction.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K Screen 2/17: Nominal Frequency. Allows you to configure the nominal frequency of the device, as shown in the image on the right. Default Value: 60 Hz. XSI-PPS-3K has two periods for managing its AC outputs: Regular and Scheduled. Regular period covers the entire day, except for the time within the Scheduled period.

Scheduled period covers the time within the limits set in the next screen (4/17). During both periods, the priority for charging the device’s batteries will be set as configured on the next screen (4/17).

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K Screen 6/17: State of Charge (SOC) to Resume Battery Discharge. Defines the SOC level at which the batteries must charge to be available for discharge again. The image on the right shows the available options. Default Value: 80%.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K Screen 11/17: AC Input Type. Indicates to the device what type of power source is being used to supply it. Default Value: Utility (Grid). Note: The GENERATOR option makes the XSI-PPS more compatible with power delivered by an electric generator.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K Screen 15/17: Reset Parameters to Factory Defaults (Critical Function). This function allows resetting the device’s parameters to factory default settings. Due to its operational impact, the first thing it requests is the access code to execute the command.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K SCREENS BASED ON OUTPUT POWER PRIORITY Following images show examples of screens based on the configured priority for powering the load (Devices powered by XSI-PPS-3K), along with their respective explanations SUB PRIORITY (Default Value): Load connected to the unit’s output is powered first by the Solar Input, then by the AC Input, and finally by the Batteries, depending on availability.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K XSI-PPS-3K uses both solar energy and the AC input to power the load because solar energy alone is insufficient. Batteries are not detected or have a voltage below 18Vdc. USB PRIORITY (Default Value): Load is powered first by the AC Input, then by the Solar Input, and finally by the Batteries, depending on availability. XSI-PPS-3K uses Solar Power to power the load and charge the batteries.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K Neither AC input nor Solar Power is present. XSI-PPS-3K uses battery power to supply its output. XSI-PPS-3K uses both AC input and Solar Power to power the load because AC input alone is not sufficient. Batteries are not detected or have a voltage below 18Vdc.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K 8. OPERATION INSPECTION BEFORE STARTUP Make sure that the unit is properly positioned according to the recommendations in this manual. If there are solar panels in your installation, verify that the cables are securely and firmly connected to their respective terminals. Any loose connection will cause overheating, failures, and equipment damage.

The two images below show the arrangement for connecting 1 or 2 external batteries to the XSI-PPS-3K. IMPORTANT NOTES: The cable from the first battery goes from the BMS1 port of the XSI-PPS-3K to P1 port of the battery.

USER MANUAL – XSI-PPS- 3K PARALLEL CONNECTION OF AC OUTPUTS To power devices or complete installations with consumption higher than 3KW, it is necessary to connect the AC outputs of the two XSI-PPS-3K units in parallel to achieve a unified 6KW output in the system. To do this, simply connect the Parallel Connection Ports of both units using the Parallel Cable supplied with the devices.

WIFI SETTING AND MONITORING VIA APP – i.SOLAR WiFi module in our solar devices (both inverters and power stations) allows the user to have remote control and monitoring through the i.Solar App, available for both IOS and Android devices. All data logs and parameters are stored in the cloud. i.Solar is an application specifically designed for smartphones, so while it can be run on tablets, there may be some changes in style and appearance, although the functions will work the same.

There, click on the "Network Config" button to enter the network configuration that allows the inverter to communicate with the Data server.

By tapping the Day, Month, Year, or Total tabs, you can view the electricity generation by hours, by days, by months, or the total for the current year, respectively.

DEVICE MANAGEMENT By selecting any of the devices listed on the home page, its specific screen will be displayed, showing its real-time data. The data includes battery information (Temperature, SOC, Capacity, Voltages, etc.), Input (Solar and AC), and Output information.
