Audio Input, Used as Both LINE IN and MIC IN (Monaural Input)
Connects the camera to a microphone. As for audio input of this camera, two types of
microphones, LINE IN and MIC IN types, are supported. Note that the camera only has one audio
input. Switch the input mode on the Setting page ("Audio Input" in Operation Guide). The factory
setting is LINE IN.
When LINE IN is selected, a microphone with amplifier can be connected.
When MIC IN is selected, a dynamic microphone or capacitor microphone can be connected.
Input terminal: Φ3.5-mm mini jack (monaural)
• Dynamic MIC IN setting
Input impedance: 1.75 kΩ± 20%
* Supported microphone
Output impedance: 400Ω ~ 600Ω
• Capacitor MIC IN setting
Input impedance (microphone bias resistance): 2.2 kΩ± 20%
Microphone power supply: Plug-in power (voltage: 1.8 V) method
*Supported microphone
Capacitor microphone of plug-in power type
• LINE IN setting
Input level: 1 Vp-p max.
* Use a microphone with amplifier.
Audio Output Terminal LINE OUT (Monaural Output)
Connects the camera to an amplifier with speaker. Audio can be sent from VK-Lite Viewer to a
speaker. Only the administrator can use this function.
Output terminal: Φ3.5-mm mini jack (monaural)
• Output level: 1 Vp-p max.
* Use a speaker with amplifier.
