Switching Using The App

• Select Double Smart Socket from device menu
• Power can be controlled by pressing the On / Off switch icons on the device (Fig.1)
• The power status of the sockets will be indicated by the status LED on the switch button of
the smart socket and the corresponding switch icon on the device

Locking The Sockets (On or Off)
• Prevents the manual operation of the power buttons
• Press lock option on device menu as shown
• The current power status of the sockets will be locked
(cannot be manually overridden)
DULE COUNTDOWN
• Pressing the power button when sockets are in "lock"
mode will result in the status LED flashing x 3 times
• Press lock icon again to resume normal operation
Note: A locked socket can only be reset using the app or by powering down the unit from the
consumer unit and powering back up again.

The 1 & 2 Gang Smart Sockets forms part of the ClickSmart+ range of wireless controlled
accessories. Users are able to control the socket using the ClickSmart+ app, manually (if set
accordingly) and using voice control (once the socket has been setup successfully with the hub

Each side of the 2 gang socket can be setup independently once paired. Each smart socket outlet
enables control features such as time control, locking each socket ON or OFF preventing manual
override or pairing with a sensor to automate local control.

restored when the supply power is re-instated.

an electric shock, ensure the mains isolator on the consumer unit is in the 'OFF'
position and safely isolated in accordance with Best Practice Guide 3.

If in doubt consult a qualified electrician. The accessory plate must be earthed and wired in
accordance with the latest IET Wiring Regulations, BS7671.

Caution must be taken when installing a new smart socket or when replacing an existing
socket for a smart socket, taking care with its position in conjunction to the hub (if no
other ClickSmart+ Zigbee products installed) as the wireless signal may be reduced
when passing through walls and furniture.
If replacing an existing accessory, check the layout of the existing terminals. When removing the

cables from the terminals, note the cable connections in the terminal to ensure correct wiring of
the new accessory.

The mounting back box must be the correct depth for the product. If the back box has four lugs
then the top and bottom lugs will need to be bent back or removed.
Please see Technical Information for minimum back box depth.
Cables should be prepared to the appropriate lengths (as stated within these instructions) so
that the conductor reaches into the terminal and the earth conductor is the longest. The terminals
should be tightened to their appropriate torque value. Do not over tighten.
