Assembly instructions
Congratulations on your purchase of the probrake foot pegs for driver and passenger
Enclosed you will find some useful tips and information to be observed for installation and use. It is your
responsibility to check the foot pegs regularly and determine whether maintenance or replacement is required.
Please note that the probrake foot pegs are safety-relevant components of your vehicle. Installation on the vehicle
may only be carried out by qualified specialist technicians. Incorrect installation can have serious results! Check
the foot pegs after a fall, impact or crash and replace them if there is any sign of damage. Before start driving,
check that all screw connections are tightened. The probrake foot pegs have been developed and tested for
Vehicles in standard condition. probrake GmbH assumes no liability or warranty for any damage resulting from a
combination with other accessories that have not been tested by probrake as a result of an incorrect installation
or poor maintenance. For modified motorbikes, please contact your dealer or test institution.
Product specific information
Please check that the vehicle is stationary before fitting, switch off the engine and remove the ignition key. Keep
children and animals away from the work area. Take your time!
Please note that the probrake foot pegs are individually adjustable in some versions. The adjustment options are
heavily dependent on the design and the space situation on the series vehicle. The setting must be selected so
that operation of the brake lever and gear lever is not restricted and so that the foot peg or foot peg holder
doesn't touch any other components! Please also pay attention to the swing arm (in any spring travel position,
even when folded).
ATTENTION: Depending on the design and setting, this product can reduce cornering and ground clearance
when driving!
The ABE-certificate delivered with the product must always be taken along! This ABE-certificate is only valid for
the listed vehicles in combination with the listed replacement footrests in observation of all conditions. For use
on vehicles not listed or vehicles in non-standard condition, an registration must be made in the vehicle
documents.
We forbid any manipulation of the probrake foot pegs like welding, soldering or bending.

Disassembly foot pegs & passenger foot pegs
Remove the original foot pegs. Split pin, safeguards, Holding plate, remove the nut or screw. Some of these are
also riveted, as example on some Yamaha motorbikes - they are drilled out and installed later with new screws.
! The original mounting parts are needed again for assembly !
Tip: First remove one side and remount our foot pegs. When this is finished, install the second side. This can
help you to take another look at the original condition and compare it.
