EComgard
Product information
EComgard is an IoT gateway providing multimedia and emergency communication for elevators. The system
only requires two (2) wires in the travelling cable to get IP connectivity from the elevator cabin to the machine
room. It also includes a power supply back-up. The EComgard acts as a router to communicate with the outside
world via LTE cellular communication or Wide-Area Network (WAN) port.

Mechanical installation
It is recommended that the EComgard is installed in a room secured against unauthorized persons, such as the
machine room, substation, etc. If the unit is installed on an easily accessible place, the Internet access or SIM
cards can be misused.
Mount the EComgard on a wall using the provided screws and anchors. Drill the holes properly and insert the
anchors. Put the screws through the device box metal profile holes and tighten them into the anchors in the wall.

LAN1 provides PoE 802.3af Class 2 (up to 6.49 W).
WAN connector, 10/100/1000BaseT, RJ-45; Cat5e or higher (recommended)
Optional LTE antenna with an SMA connector for a better signal quality
Main LTE antenna with an SMA connector
SIM card slots. The use of SIM 2 is optional. PIN-secured SIM cards can be
inserted. Make sure that the PIN code is set in the configuration to put the
device in operation.
