Thank you for purchasing the Large Panel Dock
to be used with the AirGizmos 6.25" x 8.00" Panel Docks
a slightly larger cutout than the Panel Dock. It can be installed for right or
left-side viewing. Before beginning the installation process, please take a moment
to fill out the registration card.
The Angle Adapter has been shipped with a set of mounting hardware necessary
for attaching it to the panel dock. You will still need the hardware supplied with the
Panel Dock. The hardware included is as follows: 4 AN364-832A ELASTIC LOCK
NUTS, 4 BLACK SCREWS, and 4 AN960-8 FLAT WASHERS.
You will need a cutout in the Panel of approximately 8.00" x 6.43". If you opt for a
tighter fit, make sure the angle adapter does not deform when placed in the opening.
Next, install support structures on the sides such as aluminum angles (rails). Once
you have prepared the panel and installed the rails you can continue with
this document.
Insert the Angle Adapter into the hole. Note that the angle adapter must be inserted
enough so that the inside top and bottom screws that hold the Panel Dock have
clearance behind the panel. Mark the right and left screw holes.
Drill the 4 holes in the rail for an 8-32 screw — recommended drill size is #16.
Deburr if needed, check fit with screws, and adjust if needed.
