Unpacking HomePlate Ultimate
To remove the HomePlate machine from the
packing carton, attach one or more of the legs
by sliding the upper part of the leg into the leg
base, and tightening the winged clamp screw
clockwise. Then lift the machine slightly by
the leg, and roll the machine out of the box.
Check for shipping damage
Even though your machine may appear un -
da ma ged, it is pos sible for inter nal parts to be
dama ged even if the exter nal case is un da ma-
ged. If your machine is dama ged, con tact Sports

My HomePlate machine has been acting up and showing an error code after running for about 10/15 mins. Showing F3 error code. Any help would be great. Machine is from around 2012. Thanks.

    Transporting HomePlate Ultimate CAUTION: Due to the weight of the HomePlate machine we recommend that two people be used to tip the HomePlate machine into the transport position as shown in the picture below left.
  • Page 3 Operat ing the HomePlate Ultimate machine SET-UP. Posi tion the HomePlate machine on the front half of the pitcher’s mound, or approximately 55 feet away from the plate (corresponding to a pitcher’s release point). Manually point the machine to pitch towards the plate. Adjust the tripod legs to the desired height, and also adjust them so the top and bottom of the case looks level to the ground.

    Control Panel 1) TYPE OF PITCH - Push the button for the pitch that you want. You cannot mix right-hand- ed and left-handed pitches in the same program. For instance, if you already have a right-hand- ed curve or slider stored in a program and you try to push the buttons for a left-handed curve or slider, the left curve and left slider indicator lights flash as a warning, and will not be selected.
  • Page 5 4) STORE & DELETE - When you have the Create-A-Pitch controls set to the pitch you want, push STORE to store that pitch in a memory location. Pushing STORE replaces any previously stored pitch in the selected memory location with the current pitch. Push DELETE to remove a pitch from the selected memory location.

    A1, A2, F3, F4, F5, H3, H4, H5, L3, L4, L5. If an error message is displayed, turn the machine off, wait ten seconds, then turn the machine on again. If the error message still occurs, please call Sports Tutor or your distributor for service. Remote Con trol (Optional) The hand-held remote control unit plugs into the remote jack located in the ball feed section of the control panel.

  • Page 8 HOMEPLATE ULTIMATE ONE-YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY WHAT IT COVERS The HomePlate Ultimate extended warranty covers parts only under the same terms as the original HomePlate warranty, excluding the throwing wheels. LENGTH OF EXTENDED WARRANTY The extended warranty period is one additional year at a price of $300.
