Chapter 6: Using the Internet

6.1 Connecting to the Internet

Your phone connects to the Internet via:

Wi-Fi

• Mobile data networks

To turn Wi-Fi on or off
1. From the Home screen, tap Application drawer >
Settings to access Wireless controls.
2. Tap to check the Wi-Fi function and turn Wi-Fi on or
off.
To connect to a Wi-Fi network
1. Turn Wi-Fi on.
2. Tap Wi-Fi settings. The phone scans for Wi-Fi
signals.
3. Detected networks are displayed below. Tap a
network connection then tap Connect.
4. If you select an unsecure network, the connection is
automatically established. Otherwise, proceed to
the next step.
5. To connect to a secured connection, you will be
prompted for the network key. Enter the key, then
tap Connect.
When Wi-Fi is connected, the
