Installation • The product must only be operated from the power source indicated on the rating label. If you are unsure of the type of power available, consult an electrician. • Make sure that the electrical outlet is easily accessible and not in close proximity to the shredder. - Page 6 7. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord. Do not place the power cord where there is a danger of stepping on it. 8. If an extension cord is used with this product, make sure that the total amperage (expressed in amps) at the appliances connected to the extension cord does not exceed the rated current of the extension cord.
