Description of the shredder Warnings CAUTION: KEEP THE APPLIANCE AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS! Keep the shredder out of the reach of children. DO NOT PLACE YOUR FINGERS TOO CLOSE TO THE FEED SLOT, AS SERIOUS INJURY MAY OCCUR. There is a danger of your fingers getting caught in the blade feeder.

AVOID LOOSE CLOTHING COMING INTO CONTACT WITH THE FEED SLOT. Be careful with loose parts of clothing, such as ties, when disposing of materials. BE CAREFUL WITH HAIR WHEN OPERATING THE SHREDDER. AVOID BRINGING DANGLING JEWELRY CLOSE TO THE FEEDER SLOT NEVER spray any aerosol products in or near the shredder.
STOP USING THE SHREDDER IF: 1. The blades of the shredder are blocked by paper or other data carriers. 2. The shredder motor makes loud and/or erratic noises during operation. 3. The shredder blades or paper guides are bent or damaged in any way.

4. Place the shredder as close to the power source as possible for quick and convenient connection of the device. 5. Before removing the waste container, turn off the power to the shredder. It is recommended to unplug the power cord before opening the waste bin.
12. The shredder allows you to dispose of paper and credit cards. However, you should dispose of one type of media at a time to prevent overloading. Manual NOTE: The shredder will only work with the basket supplied. The supplied basket has a built-in safety feature that prevents the shredder from operating if another basket is used or installed incorrectly.

2. Make sure that the power cord is not damaged in any way and that the electrical outlet you are plugging the shredder into is working properly. 3. Sealed envelopes should never be shredded. Doing so may damage the shredder. Always remove and disassemble the contents of the envelope before disposing of them.

of 1 piece of media can be destroyed at a time. The shredder will automatically start shredding. Overheating The shredder is equipped with a temperature sensor to protect the motor from heat damage. If the sensor detects that the motor temperature is too high, the shredder will automatically shut down and a red LED indicator will illuminate to indicate that the unit is overheating.
Open Doors The red LED indicator will illuminate when the bin is not closed properly. The machine will stop shredding. In this case, pull out and fully reinsert the waste bin. Disposal can then be continued. Troubleshooting If you encounter a problem while using your shredder, please check the list below.

Solution: If a paper jam is detected in the paper tray, the shredder will stop recycling. Press the Reverse button to remove the jammed paper. Problem: The shredder stops abruptly during shredding. Solution: • Make sure the appliance has not overheated. (See the Overheating section.) Make sure the container is not full.
