    This manual does not cover all details regarding the setup of third-party equipment in relation to the interface and necessary functionality to work with the Freedom Won LiTE Marine Battery. However, Freedom Won is available for direct support, where necessary, for supported inverter brands.

There is a 52V option available to accommodate land-based applications where moisture and corrosion resistance is desired, such as houses located particularly close to the coast.

Larger units require lifting equipment of varying capacities for handling and installation, as detailed later in this document.

The standard profile is loaded by Freedom Won prior to delivery, but installers are advised to keep the correct cable available to allow Freedom Won or distributors to program the batteries remotely or on behalf of the installer via the installer’s laptop if necessary.

    The Freedom Won LiTE Marine 5/4 and 10/8 models can be easily lifted by two people. The 20/16 model can be manually handled by an adequate number of individuals but is best managed with a pallet jack or forklift.

Mounting and Environmental Requirements The Freedom Won LiTE Marine models are designed to be mounted below deck and are IP65 rated for environments that require moisture and corrosion protection. These models can be stacked, no more than three high (one on top of the other), but only for land-based applications.

    Additionally, ensure that the cable size matches the lug size. The positive cable is red, and the negative cable is black. Refer to Table 2.1 for the cable size and quantity fitted to each Freedom Won LiTE Marine model.

Should the frame not be grounded it can result in communication issues. Correct grounding will also ensure there is a safe path for stray or excess electrical current.

Control and Communication Cables To control external devices, you'll need to connect the CAN Bus cable, enabling the Battery Management System (BMS) within the Freedom Won LiTE Marine battery to manage and interface with these devices. The CAN Bus connection is established using the RJ45 plug, with the pin configuration specified on the battery plug end, as detailed in Table 4.2.
