INTRODUCTION
•
The Multi Plate is ideal for baking or grilling
meat, fish, vegetables, eggs and pancakes.
•
The extra solid baking tray ensures an optimal
and sustainable cooking experience thanks to the
good heat distribution.
•
Equipped with a ceramic non-stick coating.
•
Can be used with little oil or butter.
•
Cooking surface dimensions: 46 x 26 cm.
•
Drain spout (3) for convenient disposal of excess
grease and oil.
•
Removable adjustable thermostat (5) with
on/off light.
•
Baking tray can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
•
Cool-touch aluminum handles (2).
BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Remove all packaging material and any stickers
and dispose of them separately so that they can
be recycled.
•
Clean the device according to the instructions in
the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE chapter.
•
Some smoke may occur during the first use. This
is normal for new heating elements and will stop
after a short while. This smoke development is
not harmful.
USE
•
Place the Multi Plate on a stable and flat surface.
•
Although the Multi Plate has a bottom plate that
prevents the table top from getting too hot, we
recommend not placing the Multi Plate on a
plastic tablecloth or other sensitive surfaces. In
that case, use a sturdy non-plastic placemat or a
heat-resistant coaster and place the Multi Plate
on it.
•
There must be sufficient space around the Multi
Plate for heat to escape and for ventilation.
•
Place the thermostat (5) in the device.
•
Plug the plug into the socket.
•
Set the thermostat to the desired temperature.
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to increase
the temperature and counterclockwise to
decrease the temperature.
•
Wait until the set temperature is reached. The
temperature indicator turns on and remains
on until the Multi Plate has reached the set
temperature. Then the indicator will go out.
•
To maintain the set temperature, the heating
element will switch on briefly at regular
intervals. The temperature indicator will then
also turn on and off.
•
Grill the food on the Multi Plate until it is ready
for consumption.
•
Experiment with temperature and cooking time
for best results.
•
Small pieces of food grill or roast better and
faster than large pieces.
•
Turn the food with the spatula.
•
To prevent dehydration, it is best to turn meat
and fish only once.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Do not pour cold water on a switched on
appliance. The water will splash and damage the
Multi Plate.
•
Be careful of steam and splashes when placing
food and heating fatty ingredients.
•
The Multi Plate becomes very hot during use.
Do not touch the hot Multi Plate. Only touch the
handles when the Multi Plate is hot.
•
Do not move the device when it is turned on or
still hot. Use oven gloves if you must touch the
appliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Clean the device after each use.
•
After use, turn the thermostat knob (4) to zero.
•
Remove the plug from the socket.
•
Let the device cool down.
•
Remove the thermostat (5) from the device.
•
The removable thermostat with cord must be
kept dry at all times.
•
Wipe the baking tray and parts with a damp cloth.
•
Do not use sharp metal objects or aggressive
cleaning agents for the non-stick coating.
•
The baking tray can be cleaned in the dishwasher
or in soapy water. Dry the baking tray, especially
the thermostat connection, thoroughly with a dry
cloth.
•
The wooden spatulas can be cleaned in soapy
water. Then dry thoroughly.

First allow the device to cool down completely
and clean it as directed.

Place the device in such a way that no damage
can occur.
•
Do not place other items on the device that could
damage it.
