b) FM: Seilrad I auf Linksanschlag drehen. Séilkanale, Ki und K2
zeigen jetzt nach oben zur Leiste N (siehe Abb. 3). Vorgefertigtes
Skalenseil mit Schlaufe bei L im Seilrad I einhangen, und durch Seil-
kanal K1 fiihren. Dann in Pfeilrichtung uber die Seilrollen M und O
zuriick zum Seilrad | und nach 1 Linkswindung, durch Seilkanal K 2
fiihren, Seilende mit Feder bei P einhangen. Seilrad I nun auf Rechts-
anschlag drehen und Mitnehmer Q@ auf dem Skalenseil mit Vertiefung
R an Leiste N in Deckung bringen und festquetschen.
3. Einbau der Leiterplatte \i
Einbau erfolgt sinngemaB in umgekehrter Reihenfolge wie Abschnitt
1. a)—f)). Vor dem Ejinsetzen der Leiterplatte AM- und FM-Schiebe-
zeiger auf Linksanschlag stellen. Wie in Abschnitt 2. a) und b) aus-
gefuhrt, sind die Mitnehmer G und Q der Skalenseile mit den Ver-
tiefungen H und R in Deckung zu bringen.

1. Opening the set and removal of p. c. board
a) Release and remove the three holding screws, located in the
middle of the back cover (do not release the four screws @, ©, ©, @,
located next to and below the pushbuttons, see Fig. 1).
b) Lift the chassis out of the case with the aid of the carrying handle.
c) Pull off the knobs of the volume, treble and bass controls.

a) 3 Halteschrauben in der Mitte der Gerateriickwand lésen und her-
ausziehen (die 4 Schrauben @, ©, ©, @ neben und unterhalb der
Drucktasten nicht l6sen, siehe Abb. 1)
b) Chassis mit Hilfe des Tragegriffes nach oben aus dem Gehause
herausziehen.
Cc) pocienungaknépie der Einsteller Lautstarke, Hdhen,
ziehen.
d) AnschluBdraht der Stabantenne abléten.
e) 3 Kunststoffbuchsen @, @, @ abziehen und 6 Halteschrauben @—-@
auf der Verdrahtungsseite der Leiterplatte l6sen (siehe Abb. 1).
f) Leiterplatte nach links schwenken, so daB Bestiickungsseite nach
vorn zeigt (auf AnschluBdrahte achten).

2. Auflegen der Skalenseile (bei ausgebauter Leiterplatte vornehmen,
siehe Abschn. 1.)
a) AM: Seilrad A auf Linksanschlag drehen (Drehko eingedreht). Seil-
kanale B1 und B 2 zeigen jetzt nach links (siehe Abb. 2, Ansicht X).
Skalenseil mit Schlaufe bei C im Seilrad A einhangen und durch Seil-
kanal B1 fihren. Dann in Pfeilrichtung tiber die Seilrollen D und E
zurick zum Seilrad A und nach 1'/2 Linkswindungen durch Seilkanal
B2 fuhren, Seilende mit Feder bei F einhangen. Mitnehmer G auf
dem Skalenseil mit Vertiefung H an Leiste N in Deckung bringen und
festquetschen.
d) Unsolder the connecting wire of the telescopic antenna.
e) Remove the three plastic spacers ©, @, @ and release six holding
screws @ — @ on the wiring side of the p. c. board (see Fig.°1).
f) Swing the p. c. board to the left so that the component side points
to the front, taking care not to damage the connecting wires.
2. Dial cord stringing (must be done with the p.c. board removed,
see section 1.)
a) AM: Turn drive drum A to maximum anti-clockwise position (tuning
gang fully closed). The cord channels B1 and B 2 now point to the left
(see Fig. 2, View X). Anchor the dial cord with loop on to the drive
drum A at point C and then lead the cord through the cord channel
B1. Next, pass the cord in the direction of the arrow around the
pulleys D and E back to the drive drum A. After 1'/2 turns anti-clock-
wise lead the cord through the cord channel B2. Anchor the cord
end with spring on to F. Bring the carrier G on the dial cord to
coincidence with the recess H in the bar N and secure the carrier
on the cord.
b) FM: Turn drive drum I to maximum anti-clockwise position. The
cord channels K1 and K2 must now point upwards to the strip N
(see Fig. 3). Anchor the made-up dial cord with loop on to the drive
drum | at point L and lead the cord through the cord channel K1.
Then pass the cord in the direction of the arrow around the pulleys
M and O and back to the drive drum I. After 1 turn anti-clockwise
lead the cord through the cord
channel K2. Anchor the cord end
with spring on to P. Now turn
the drive drum I to maximum
clockwise position. Bring the
carrier Q on the dial cord to

coincidence with the recess R
KI in the bar N and secure the
carrier on the cord.
3. To reinstall the p.c. board
L To reinstall the p.c. board,
perform in reverse order the

fore inserting the p.c. board,
