1.9.5 First use ECU scan Upon fi rst use on a vehicle or after the tool fi rmware as been updated, the EASControl will scan the vehicle and note the presence of all ECU’s on communications buses. The resulting list is stored in the EASControl memory for up to 10 vehicles.
This function shows the current fi rmware version in your EASControl. The EASControl enters the top level menu at ‘Read Fault’ and displays the fi rmware version when the Speed+ / Menu Up button is pressed. The version can also be viewed using the updater software.

ABS and DCS/HDC malfunction lights are ON. Performing a read faults using the EASControl or any other diagnostic tool may reveal many faults stored in different ECU’s. Hard faults (P,C or B) may create “lost communication” (U prefi x) errors because the ECU with the registered hard fault has stopped or is sending invalid data.

The rear can be raised by a maximum of 200 - 180 = 20 mm. The rear can be lowered without a maxi- mum limit. The EASControl automatically calculates these values and allows only changes within these parame- ters. Note: The maximum values for lowering and raising are found by trial and error. They will not be the same on every vehicle.
The settings and changes are given in millimeters but this does not correspond exactly to changes at the wheel. Each change in height must be measured from the bottom of the wheel arch to the center of the wheel (see step 5).
