Installing the FineVu Cloud App Scan the corresponding QR code for your mobile platform (iOS or Android). Follow the instructions on the App Store or Google Play Store to download and install the app. Open the app after installation to begin setting up your device.

Adding the Dash Cam to the App To connect your dash cam to the app: Press the Wi-Fi button on the dash cam. You will hear an audio message confirming that Wi-Fi is enabled. Open the app on your mobile device and tap the "Add Dash Cam"...

Selecting the Dash Cam in the App After pressing the "Add Dash Cam" button and enabling Wi-Fi on the camera, follow these steps to select your camera in the app: On the screen that appears, you will see a list of available dash cam models.

Confirming Connection and Selecting the Camera After enabling Wi-Fi on the dash cam, the app will search for available cameras. On the screen, the available camera will appear with the name "FineVu_GX1000CLD_xxxx," where "xxxx" is a unique code for each camera. Tap on the camera name to select and connect to it.

Confirming Connection with the Camera After the initial connection with the camera is made, the app will ask you to confirm the connection: Press the "REC/MIC" button on the camera to confirm the connection.

Accepting Connection Permission During the connection process, your phone may request permission to connect to the camera's network: When the message appears asking to connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network (e.g., FineVu_GX1000CLD_xxxx), tap "Join" (Accept). This will allow the phone to connect to the camera and continue the setup process..
Selecting Language During the initial setup, you will be prompted to select the language for the app and camera interface: From the language selection screen, choose your preferred language from the list. Confirm your selection to proceed with the setup in the chosen language.

Selecting Region After selecting the language, the app will ask you to choose your region: From the list of regions, select your region of choice. You can select up to 5 regions if needed.
Automatic Software Updates During the initial connection of the camera with the app, automatic software updates may occur: If updates are available, the app will automatically start the download and installation process. During the update, wait without closing the app or disconnecting the camera from the power.

Main Menu of the App After completing the initial setup and updates, you will be taken to the main menu of the app. In this menu, you have the following options:(NOT CLOUD) Live View: Here you can see in real-time what your camera is recording.
Camera Software Updates After entering the "Update" menu, you can check for available updates and install them: Check for Updates: The app will display available updates for the camera, including updates for speed cameras, firmware, and languages.

Camera Software Updates Select Update: Press the "Update" button to start the update process. Confirm Update: A message will appear asking you to confirm the installation of the update. Press "OK" to proceed.

Camera Software Updates Installing Update: The update will begin installing. Wait until the process is complete without closing the app or disconnecting the camera from power.

Camera Software Updates Completing the Update and Automatic Restart: Once the installation is complete, the camera will restart automatically. Wait for the restart to finish and reopen the app. Tap "Connect to Dash Cam" to reconnect to the camera.

Connecting to the Cloud To connect your camera to the Cloud, follow these steps: Tap the cloud icon in the app. A message will appear asking if you are sure you want to disconnect. Tap "Disconnect" to confirm. It is normal to disconnect at this point, as we need to configure the camera for connection to the Cloud.

The app will begin searching for nearby cameras. Ensure the camera's Wi-Fi is enabled. Select the camera from the list of available devices to add it to the Cloud.

Camera Settings To configure the camera, tap the "Dash Cam Settings" button. This can be done either via Cloud or Wi-Fi.

Camera Settings - Basic In the basic camera settings, you will find the following options: Mic: Here you can choose whether the videos recorded by the dash cam will have sound or not. Sound: Adjust the sound level of the camera for various notifications. Time: Select the time zone to synchronize the time according to your location (You can enable automatic synchronization with your phone).

Camera Settings - Environment In the "Environment" tab, you can configure the following options: Wi-Fi Password: Displays the Wi-Fi password used to connect the camera to the app. You can also change the password. Wi-Fi Frequency Band: Choose the Wi-Fi frequency band you want the camera to use, 2.4GHz or 5GHz. The 2.4GHz band offers better range, while the 5GHz band provides faster connection speeds.

Camera Settings - Camera In the "Camera" tab, you can configure the following options: HDR: Enable the HDR (High Dynamic Range) function to improve video quality. ○ HDR helps capture more details in scenes with high contrast lighting, such as when driving in areas with both shadow and light simultaneously.

Installation Angle: This setting is primarily used by installers. It provides a voice notification when the camera is not positioned at the correct angle.

Camera Settings - ADAS In the "ADAS & Safe Driving" tab, you can adjust the following options: Speed Camera Alert: Not supported in Greece. It is recommended to keep it OFF. FVMA (Front Vehicle Motion Alert): Alerts you if the vehicle in front starts moving, reducing the risk of missing critical moments in traffic.

Camera Settings - Cloud Upload In the "Cloud Upload Settings" tab, you can adjust the following options for managing the automatic video upload to the cloud: Automatic Upload of Events: Enable this setting to allow the automatic upload of events to the cloud.

Notifications and Live View via Cloud With the successful connection of the camera to the cloud, you can receive live notifications about the status of your vehicle and have a live view of what is happening. The notifications will inform you about various events, such as when the vehicle enters parking mode or when a collision is detected during parking.

Notifications and Live View via Cloud In the Cloud File, you can view all the videos recorded by the camera and uploaded to the cloud. These videos are organized by date and time of recording and can be filtered by the type of event, such as Event, Parking, or Manual.

Notifications and Live View via Cloud Notifications can be accessed via the bell icon on the main screen of the app. This way, you can view all previous notifications at any time. If a notification includes a video, there is a direct button to watch it.
