- Page 2 Place the bench top upside down on its packaging. Check everything is secured nicely and turn the bench upright. Slide a collar along the leg and insert a metal dowel into each of the holes at the top of the leg. 30mm Put a leg in the pocket on the bench, and loosely secure it in place with 30mm bolts.
