12. Battery application The electric wheelchair uses a 24 voltage battery. It is a good idea to carry a replace- ment 24V12AH battery, in case you need to charge the one in use. This is a mainte- nance-free sealed lithium battery. The batteries are designed to handle deep discharges. -
