Changing The Country Code Setting - Alpine DVI-9990 Owner's Manual

[ To play in a language other than those displayed ]
Select [CODE] on step 5 of the standard DVD setup on page 67, and perform the following
operation after pressing ENTER.
1) Press the number buttons (0 to 9) to input a 4 digit language number.
Find language numbers in the "List of language codes" on page 99.
2) Press ENTER to finalize the language number.
3) After setting, press and hold MENU/SETUP for more than 3 seconds.
The unit returns to the normal mode.

Changing the country code setting

Set the country code when setting the rating level (Parental lock).
GROUP: COUNTRY CODE
Setting item: 0000~9999
1) Select "COUNTRY CODE" on step 4 of the "DVD setup standard operation"
on page 67, and enter a country code by pressing 0 to 9.
Find country numbers in the "List of country codes" on page 100-101.
2) Press ENTER to save the country code.
3) After setting, press and hold MENU/SETUP for more than 3 seconds.
The unit returns to the normal mode.
• When the settings are changed, the old setting are overwritten. Make a note of the current
settings before making changes. The settings are not cleared even when the vehicle's battery
is disconnected.
