Important Safeguards When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: • Read all instructions outlined in the instruction manual. • Do not touch hot surfaces of the appliance. Use handles or knobs. • To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, plugs in water or other liquids.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Ensuring the top cover is properly positioned, place a large bowl under the spout so that the edge of the bowl is touching the body of the popcorn maker. It is important that the popcorn ejects down the spout into the bowl and not re-directed, blocked or otherwise interfered with, as the popcorn is hot and contact may cause minor discomfort.
