Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG! Achten Sie bei übermäßigem Lärm darauf, dass Sie stets Ohrenstöpsel tragen und diese richtig
sitzen. Tauschen Sie sie falls nötig aus.
WARNUNG! und Lesen und befolgen Sie immer die Anweisungen; ein Nichtbeachten kann dazu führen,
dass der Schutz den diese Ohrenstöpsel vor gefährlicher Lärmbelastung bieten, erheblich beeinträchtigt und die
Gesundheit des Trägers gefährdet wird.
WICHTIG: Diese Gehörschutzstöpsel sind nur für einmalige Nutzung vorgesehen und müssen
dementsprechend nach dem Gebrauch entsorgt werden.
• Der Gehörschutz kann durch bestimmte chemische Substanzen beeinträchtigt werden. Bei Bedarf sollten
weitere Informationen beim Hersteller angefordert werden.
• Um den Anwender vor Gefahren zu schützen, ist auf ausreichende Schulung des Anwenders sowie die
richtige Auswahl, Verwendung und Pflege der Gehörstöpsel entsprechend dieser Anweisung zu achten.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
In den Gehörgang einzusetzende Gehörschutzstöpsel zum Schutz vor lauten Geräuschen und
gesundheitsgefährdender Lärmbelastung.

Fitting Instructions
Inserting into ear
IMPORTANT: Before use, always inspect the product for any signs of damage or wear. If any signs of damage or
wear are found, replace immediately.
IMPORTANT: Always wash and rinse hands prior to fitting this product.
WARNING: Always fit the ear-plugs prior to entering a noise hazard area.
1. Fully compress the ear-plug by rolling it between the fingers (Fig. I)
2. Reach over the top of the head with the opposite hand and gently pull the top of the ear to open the ear canal
3. Gently and carefully insert the compressed ear-plug firmly into the ear canal
4. Continue to hold the tip of the ear-plug and allow it to expand in the canal to block out incoming sound
Note: These ear-plugs are designed to fit most ear canals. If you are unable to effectively and correctly fit these
ear-plugs, see your safety officer or contact Silverline for further advice.
Fitting check
WARNING: Always perform this check prior to entering a noise hazard area.
1. With ear-plugs inserted correctly, check the sound of your own voice, which should sound hollow
2. Check sounds around you are not as loud as before
3. Perform re-checks during use and if the ear-plugs become loose re-fit correctly
(see "Inserting into ear 1–4" Fig. I)

IMPORTANT : avant utilisation, vérifiez toujours que le produit n'est pas endommagé ou usé. Si le produit est
endommagé, remplacez-le immédiatement.
IMPORTANT : veuillez toujours laver vos mains avant de manipuler ce produit.
AVERTISSEMENT : installez les bouchons d'oreille avant d'entrer dans la zone à risque.
1. Compressez complètement le bouchon d'oreille en le roulant entre vos doigts (Fig. I).
2. Passez votre main au-dessus de votre tête, puis tirez légèrement sur le haut de votre oreille afin d'ouvrir le
conduit auditif.
3. Introduisez doucement le bouchon d'oreille compressé dans le conduit auditif avec l'autre main.
4. Continuez de tenir l'extrémité du bouchon d'oreille jusqu'à ce que ce dernier ait repris son volume initial et
puisse ainsi bloquer les niveaux sonores élevés.
Remarque : ces bouchons d'oreille sont conçus pour s'adapter à la plupart des conduits auditifs. Si vous n'êtes
pas en mesure d'utiliser efficacement ce produit, adressez-vous à votre responsable de santé et sécurité ou
contactez Silverline pour plus d'informations.
Vérifications de l'insertion
AVERTISSEMENT : avant de pénétrer dans la zone à risque, vérifiez toujours que le produit est bien inséré.
1. Après avoir inséré les bouchons d'oreille, vérifiez l'insertion correcte à l'aide du son de votre voix : s'ils sont
bien insérés, votre voix
devrait sonner « creuse ».
2. Vérifiez que les niveaux sonores alentours sont atténués comme prévu.
3. Répétez ces vérifications pendant l'utilisation et, si le bouchon se déloge, insérez celui-ci à nouveau
(voir « Insertion dans l'oreille », étapes 1 à 4, Fig. I).

Gehörschutzstöpsel einsetzen
ACHTUNG! Überprüfen Sie das Produkt vor Gebrauch auf Beschädigungen und Verschleiß. Ersetzen Sie das
Produkt bei derartigen Anzeichen sofort.
ACHTUNG! Waschen Sie sich vor Einsetzen dieses Produkts stets die Hände.
WARNUNG! Setzen Sie die Gehörschutzstöpsel stets vor Betreten eines Gefahrenbereichs ein.
1. Drücken Sie die Gehörschutzstöpsel durch Rollen zwischen den Fingern möglichst stark zusammen (siehe
Abb. I).
2. Legen Sie einen Arm oben über den Kopf ans gegenüberliegende Ohr und ziehen Sie das Ohr sanft hoch, um
den Gehörgang zu öffnen.
3. Setzen Sie den zusammengerollten Gehörschutzstöpsel behutsam, aber fest in den Gehörgang.
4. Halten Sie den Gehörschutzstöpsel ins Ohr gedrückt, bis er sich vollständig an den Gehörgang angelegt hat;
erst dann ist das Gehör optimal geschützt.
Hinweis: Diese Gehörschutzstöpsel sind so geformt, dass sie in die meisten Gehörgänge passen. Falls Sie
dennoch nicht in der Lage sind, diese Gehörschutzstöpsel richtig und wirksam einzusetzen, wenden Sie sich an
den zuständigen Sicherheitsbeauftragten oder lassen Sie sich von Silverline beraten.
Sitz überprüfen
WARNUNG! Führen Sie diese Überprüfung stets vor Betreten eines Gefahrenbereichs durch.
1. Prüfen Sie den Klang Ihrer Stimme bei ordnungsgemäß eingesetzten Gehörschutzstöpseln; sie sollte hohl
klingen.
2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Umgebungsgeräusche gedämpft klingen.
3. Wiederholen Sie diese Kontrollen während des Gebrauchs. Sollten Sie die Gehörschutzstöpsel locker, setzen
Sie sie vorschriftsmäßig wieder ein (siehe „Gehörschutzstöpsel einsetzen", Schritt 1–4, Abb. I).
