REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
• In case of a technical defect, kettle has to be replaced.
Only filter assy has been listed as spare part.
• Descaling
1. Fill the kettle with white vinegar (8% acetic acid) up to
one quarter of the "MAX" indication.
2. Add water to the "MAX" indication.
3. Press the green tea button to heat up the water to
80 ºC and then press the "KEEP WARM" button.
4. Empty the kettle after 30 minutes and rinse the inside
thoroughly.
5. Repeat the descaling procedure if there is still some
scale in the kettle.
• Note:
If you take the kettle off the base before the descaling
process is finished, the appliance switches off
automatically. You can also deactivate the descaling
process by pressing any of the preset buttons.
• Cleaning fi lter
Clean the fi lter by rinsing it under a running tap.
If necessary, you can use a soft nylon brush.
The scale fi lter can also be cleaned in the dishwasher or
clean the fi lter by de-scaling it in the same way as the
kettle. Let the fi lter soak in a cup of warm water with
some white vinegar or an appropriate descaler.
Take the fi lter out of the cup and rinse it thoroughly.
