    1.0 INTRODUCTION 1.0.1 The Ocean Safety MOB Ladder is designed for use in a man overboard situation. Available in 3m or 4m lengths. The ladder complies with the ISO-15085 standard and should hang at least 5 rungs (1.2m) below the water line when deployed.

    2.0 INSTALLATION 2.1 Thread the 25mm 3-Bar slide buckle through the square buckle around the guard rail. WARNING: POSITION THE VALISE WITH THE ACTIVATION LINE TOWARDS THE OUTSIDE OF THE VESSELS GUARD RAILS. THE LADDER MUST BE ABLE TO DEPLOY FULLY AND UN-RESTRICTED INTO THE WATER WARNING: POSITION THE BUCKLES IN EITHER THE FRONT OR REAR OF THE GUARD RAIL.

  • Page 7 Check the valise is securely fitted to the vessel rail. Train all crew members in the safe and correct use of the MOB ladder. When the vessel is not in use, remove the ladder and store in a dry environment to prolong the product’s life.
