4 - Start/Pause Button
5 - Spin speed adjustment button
INFORMATION
The programs are equipped with a limiter for the spin
speed appropriate for that particular type of fabric.
When selecting the program, always consider the
type of fabric, the color, the level of soiling and the
permissible water temperature.
Main programmes Depending on the type of fabric,
use the following main programmes:
• Cotone For cotton laundry (such as sheets,
pillowcases and bedding sets, towels, bathrobes,
underwear, etc.). Laundry will be washed with a
vigorous washing action for a longer wash cycle.
• Sintetici For washing synthetic garments (T-shirts,
shirts, synthetic/cotton blends, etc.). It washes gently
and has a shorter wash cycle than the Cotton
programme. For curtains and tulle, use the Synthetics
40°C program. Since mesh fabrics cause excess foam,
wash veils/tulle by putting a little detergent in the
main wash compartment.
Starting the programme Press the start/pause
button to start the programme. The follow-up
program light showing the program startup will turn
on. Program Progress.
The progress of a current program can be tracked
thanks to the program follow-up indicator with the
"Running" and "End/Cancel" lights.
INFORMATION
If the washing machine does not pass the spin phase,
the automatic unbalanced load detection system may
have activated due to an unbalanced distribution of
laundry in the washing machine.
Loading Door Lock There is a locking system on the
washing machine's loading door that prevents the
door from opening in case the water level is not
suitable. If you want to open the loading door when
the washer is in use, press the "Start/Pause" key to
pause the washer. The "Door Open" light starts
flashing when the washer is put into pause mode.
The appliance monitors the internal water level. If the
level is suitable, the "Door Open" indicator lights up
steadily within 1-2 minutes and the loading door can
be opened. If the level is not suitable, the "Door
Open" light will go out and the loading door cannot
be opened. If you are forced to open the loading
door when the "Door open" light is off, you must
cancel the current program; see "Canceling the
Program".
Switch the washer to pause mode Press the
"Start/Pause" key to switch to pause mode while a
programme is running. The "Running" light begins to
flash on the program follow-up indicator to show that
the washer has switched to pause mode. When the
loading door is ready to be opened, the "Door Open"
light illuminates continuously.
Adding or removing laundry Press the "Start/Pause"
key to switch to pause mode. When the washer is in
pause mode, the "Running" light flashes. Wait until
the loading door can be opened. Open the loading
door and add or remove laundry. Close the loading
door. Press the "Start/Pause" key to start the washer.
INFORMATION
The door can be opened if the water level is suitable.
The open door symbol flashes until the loading door
is ready to be opened. The symbol light is solid when
the door is ready to be opened. You can open the
door and add/remove the laundry.
Cancelling the programme To cancel the
programme, turn the programme selector knob to
select another programme. The previous program is
canceled. The "End/Cancel" light flashes continuously
to alert you that the program has been canceled.
INFORMATION
If you start a new programme after cancelling the
previous one, the new programme starts without
draining the water from the washing machine. If it is
absolutely necessary to open the loading door when
the "Door open" light is off, use the
"Centrifuga+Pompa" program.
Repeated Laundry Spinning The Unbalanced Load
Control System prevents the unbalanced load of
laundry from spinning in the washer. If you want to
spin again: Put the laundry back in the washing
machine. Select the Spin+Pump program and press
the "Start/Pause" button.
End of the program The "End/Cancel" light on the
program follow-up indicator will illuminate when the
program reaches the end; and the "Door Open"
symbol will flash for 1-2 minutes until the door is
ready to be opened. When the "Door open" symbol is
lit steadily, the door can be opened. To turn off the
washer, turn the program selector knob to the
"On/Off" position. Take out the laundry and close the
loading door. The washer is ready for a new cycle.
Door open The "Door open" symbol is illuminated
when the door can be opened. Flashes until the door
is ready to be opened. If the "Door Open" symbol is
not illuminated, do not force to open the door. The
symbol light is solid when the door is ready to be
opened.
