Failure to do so could result in a malfunction and personal injury. Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage.
  • Page 6 9270984 72 in. Universal UTV Snowplow V4.0 ASSEMBLING THE PUSH FRAME Place the push frame (#9) on a flat surface. Place the locking turn plate on to of the push frame. Align the plate’s center slot with the frame’s slot.
  • Page 7 V4.0 72 in. Universal UTV Snowplow 9270984 CONNECTING THE BLADE TO THE PUSH BAR Lift push bar up and place a block under it to make it easier to align the blade with the turn plates. Insert a M10 x 20 hex bolt (#23) from the outside through the top, front bolt hole of the locking turn plate.
  • Page 8 9270984 72 in. Universal UTV Snowplow V4.0 Screw an M8 nut (#6) onto the eyebolt (#5). Move the nut upwards enough to make sure you can easily hook the spring into place. Screw an M8 lock nut (#7) onto the eyebolt.
  • Page 9 V4.0 72 in. Universal UTV Snowplow 9270984 Hook a U-bolt (#27) over the frame and push the ends through the mounting plate. Slide a washer 28 x 8 x 2 (#28) and M8 lock nut (#7) onto the ends of the U-bolt.

  • Page 11 V4.0 72 in. Universal UTV Snowplow 9270984 SETTING THE BLADE’S TRIP MECHANISM The blade’s trip mechanism activates when the plow blade strikes an obstacle. The blade tips forward, causing the blade’s bottom to pivot backwards, away from the obstacle. Backing away from the obstacle will allow the springs attached to the blade to pull it back into position.

PLOWING Consult your UTV owner’s manual for safe driving instructions.
