  • Page 2 INTRODUCTION HOW IT WORKS Most insects are sensitive to UV light waves in the range of 315-400nm due to photosensitivity. This unit generates violet light with wavelengths of 365-395nm. The light attracts mosquitoes and flies. The fan assists in pulling insects toward the light and in pushing them through the unit into the collection tray.
