The LG SN7Y subwoofer may not produce sound despite the green light being on due to a software issue caused by an update. The subwoofer's SPI chip may need to be reprogrammed for it to function correctly. Additionally, if the internal ribbon cable is not properly connected, the subwoofer may not power on or work correctly.
