    4. Mark the four mounting bracket slot locations (Fig. 2A). 5. Use a 3/8” drill bit to drill four through-holes through the deck and stringers such that the through-holes align along the center of the stringer’s width and close to the center of the mounting bracket’s slots.

  • Page 13 Mounting Through Deck 1. Use the 5” bolts and backing plates to secure the pontoon bracket to the deck. 3/8” 3/8” A. Place a washer (Fig. 7A) onto each -16 x 5” bolt (Fig. 7B). B. Install assembled bolts through the mounting bracket, pontoon deck and stringer (if applicable) (Fig.
  • Page 14 C. Place a ” washers backing plate (Fig. 8A) over each pair of bolts followed by (Fig. 8B) onto each bolt then secure with threading on a ” nylon locking nut (Fig. 8C). NOTE: When using a backing plate, the plate MUST be sandwiched between the pontoon deck and the second washer.
  • Page 15 Mount Anchor to Adapter Plate 1. Align the holes of the anchor’s mounting bracket with the holes of the Pontoon Deck Mounting Bracket. 2. Use the supplied SWA Mounting Kit (P/N 2023017309) to mount the anchor to the Pontoon Deck Mounting Bracket (Fig. 9). Fig.

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE When preparing to trailer or store the boat, take precautions to protect the anchor(s) from possible damage. 1. Make sure the anchor is fully retracted. 2. Periodically inspect the Pontoon Deck Mounting Bracket and, if applicable, the backing plate(s), wire harnesses and electrical connections for damage or loose or missing parts.
