Page 4: Opening Your Safe For The First Time
Opening your safe for the first time 1) Locate the supplied “Override Keys” from the packaging. 2) Remove the key lock cover plate located between the keypad and the knob by pulling out on the cover plate. (See figure below) Cover Plate 3) Insert the key into the lock and turn the key counterclockwise (to the left) and hold. -

Locking the Safe Turn the knob counterclockwise (to the left) to lock safe. If the bolts are in the locked (extended) position but the safe door is in the open position then input the code and open the safe to retract the bolts. -

Changing the Batteries 1) Unlock the safe: If the batteries are dead use the Override Key to open the safe. Refer to section “Opening the Safe for the First Time” on page 4. 2) The battery compartment is located on the back side of the door. Gently press the battery cover “rigids”... - Page 7 Mounting the Safe - Continued c) Using a straight edge/level/or building square, draw a vertical pencil line 20 and 5/8 inches (20.625”) long along the inside edge of the stud. This will locate the right hand (hinged) side of the safe. d) From the top of your scribed line, measure 13 and 3/4 (13.75”) inches to the left and make a pencil mark.

Use, Care, & Maintenance EXTERIOR CLEANING: Use a soft cloth like a microfiber cloth with a mild cleaner (i.e., window cleaner) to clean the exterior of the safe. Make sure to wipe dry and never use harsh cleaners. Wipe around logos and graphics gently. -

The decision to repair a safe in purchaser’s home, at the factory, or to replace the safe, is solely that of Tracker Safe. If the safe is to be repaired at the factory or replaced, Tracker Safe will pay for the freight back to the factory. -
