Page 4: Opening Your Safe For The First Time
Opening your safe for the first time 1) Locate the supplied hex wrench and the key from the packaging. 2) Use the hex wrench to unscrew the chrome lock cover plate. 3) Insert the key into the lock and turn the key clockwise (to the right) and gently pull the door open. -

Changing the Code 1) Read the entire code changing process first before attempting to change the code. The code can be changed in the locked or unlock position. 2) Input the current code or if the code has not been changed then input the factory code “1234”. -

Fingerprint Registration READ THE ENTIRE PROCESS FIRST. a) A maximum of 32 fingerprints can be registered in the lock. It is recomended that you register the same finger multiple times with slightly different posistions on the scanner. 1) With the door open and in the unlocked position (bolts retracted), locate the Red Button on the backside of the door near the hinges. -

Opening the safe with a Fingerprint 1) Press and release “ * ”. The scanner light will turn on. 2) Put your finger on the scanner and hold until the scanner light turns off. The screen will display “OPEN” when the locking bolts have been retracted and the door is unlocked. -

System Reset/Fingerprint Deletion: 1) Open safe with the code or a fingerprint and keep the locking bolts retracted. 2) Locate the Red Button on the back side of the door near the hinges. 3) Press and hold the Red Button for 6 seconds. The screen will flash “INIF”... -

Use, Care, & Maintenance SAFE LOCATION & MOUNTING: Tracker Safe recommends that safe be mounted/bolted to another object (like the wall or the floor) to keep it secure. WARNING! This safe is not intented to be used on it’s back with the door facing up. -

The decision to repair a safe in purchaser’s home, at the factory, or to replace the safe, is solely that of Tracker Safe. If the safe is to be repaired at the factory or replaced, Tracker Safe will pay for the freight back to the factory. -
