The chair is ready for use upon delivery; any protective film should be removed before use. The chair has two primary functions: First, a raising/lowering function that is used to lift the patient to the optimal working height, thereby relieving the care staff and safeguarding the patient’s dignity by bringing them to eye level with the caregiver.

However, the lifting speed will be reduced when the battery is below 0ºC. But in practice, if charged, the chair will always be able to perform its task even after being stored in very cold temperatures (-15ºC).

USER MANUAL – ERGOtip chairs – UK VERSION 2.2 8.6 Operating the Chair The control panel is located on the side of the chair, attached to a spiral cord. To turn on the ERGOtip chair, press the UP/DOWN arrow buttons on the control panel. Make sure the chair is charged before use.

USER MANUAL – ERGOtip chairs – UK VERSION 2.2 11. Usage 11.1 Raising the Seat Raise the seat by pressing the top arrow button in the upper square of the remote control. Hold the button until the chair reaches the desired position: Upon releasing the button, the chair will be locked in position.
It could also have come loose if a wheel change, which was not carried out by Danrehab A/S, was done without using a screw lock. However, the risk of accidents and injuries is minimal, as a loose wheel will wobble quite violently and thus be noticed immediately by the care staff upon moving the chair.

Contact the dealer/manufacturer. DO NOT use the chair UNTIL the fault(s) have been corrected. When replacing one or several of the motors, a risk of injury may arise if not done correctly.
